Looming full speed ahead

Just a quick Pretending to Craft this week. Just showing you how far I’ve come on my loom.

Here’s where I was last time we visited it:

And here’s where I am currently:

I know it may not seem like a lot, but this is a project I work on while I’m just watching TV or what have you. I am impressed with myself and that’s all that matters. 🙂

What projects are you working on?

In the past, I’ve attempted crocheting and knitting. I took Fiber Arts in college and learned how to work a loom. That last one stuck. However, looms are huge and expensive and I had best just give up. That is until I realized that smaller looms might be the way to go.

This past Yule, my mother gave me the Martha Stewart Crafts Knit and Weave Loom Kit. I AM SO EXCITED. I’ve been having fun with it.

It comes with all these parts so you can build the base to match whatever you need for your yarn projects (I just took a photo of the photo on the box…in case you couldn’t tell).

There are really only two ways to go on this loom, or so the instruction book tells me. I’ll have fun experimenting.

I’ll be sure to post the finished project on here. However, it really frustrates me when Mr. LL can finish up one whole craft project in an evening and I feel like I’ve barely woven an inch!
