TGF and I like to do breakfast on the weekends. During the week, we are in such a rush to get to work we barely have time to make our coffees, much less breakfast. So, one day on the weekend we will go to our favorite breakfast diner, The Breakfast Club, and enjoy their delicious food stuffs. Sometimes, we’ll make breakfast. Sometimes we make breakfast for dinner. Let’s face it, it is a damn shame that so called “breakfast foods” are limited to one time slot of the day!
- bacon, all cooked up, as much as you like
- scrambled eggs, the recipe calls for 5 but I think we used 4 out of necessity
- shredded cheese, we used a mix of cheese (pre-shredded); again, the recipe calls for 1 cup, but in our house we don’t measure the cheese…we just us a lot of it
- 1 can of crescent rolls
